1. Scope

PreflightFlow is offered to printers, prepress teams, graphic production businesses, freelancers and individual customers. A customer ordering for trade, business or professional purposes acts as a business customer and confirms that it has authority to bind its organisation. A customer ordering outside those purposes acts as a consumer and benefits from the applicable mandatory protections, including those in section 8.

2. Contract documents

The transaction with Lemon Squeezy is governed by its Buyer Terms, presented and accepted at checkout. Use of PreflightFlow is governed by these licence terms. Lemon Squeezy’s terms control payment, tax, invoicing, renewal and refunds; these terms control software use and product support. Customer purchasing terms do not apply unless agreed in writing.

3. Product, compatibility, Free and trial

PreflightFlow is a desktop application for PDF preflight, assisted correction and routing. Only versions expressly offered on the download page are considered available. Document processing is local; licence validation and Free/trial quotas require internet access.

Free permits five manual checks per month and device, using built-in or locked client profiles, with report export. It excludes corrections, batches, profile creation and automation. A pseudonymous device fingerprint keeps the monthly allowance from resetting through reinstallation or an e-mail change.

The trial unlocks every Studio feature on one workstation for fourteen consecutive days or one hundred jobs, whichever comes first. It starts only when the user explicitly chooses it, requires no card, and ends without a charge or automatic subscription. One trial is granted per device. The pseudonymous fingerprint restores the original deadline and counter after reinstallation; changing e-mail or operating-system account does not create another trial. Trial processing requires internet. At the end, the application falls back to Free; local files, reports and history remain accessible.

The software helps detect production risks but does not guarantee exhaustive detection or printed output. GWG references describe inspiration or technical coverage, not formal compliance unless expressly backed by independent validation. The customer remains responsible for profiles, approvals, backups, proofs and production sign-off.

4. Price, ordering and payment

The applicable prices and periods are displayed before ordering. Website prices exclude tax; Lemon Squeezy shows the final total, taxes and currency before payment. The final checkout action creates an obligation to pay. The order is concluded once payment is accepted and Lemon Squeezy sends durable confirmation.

Pro and Studio are prepaid monthly or annual subscriptions. They renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. Price changes apply only to future renewals after any notice or consent required by law.

5. Delivery and activation

Following payment confirmation, Lemon Squeezy supplies the licence key and download access, including through the receipt and customer portal. Customers must provide an accurate email and retain the receipt. For non-delivery, contact Lemon Squeezy support first, then support@preflightflow.com for product help.

6. Software licence

For the subscription term, the publisher grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence for the customer’s internal business use. Pro permits one active workstation, the features listed on Pricing and one local Watch Folder workflow; Studio permits up to three workstations in the same organisation and advanced local/network automation. The key is limited to the customer organisation. A seat can be released in the app before transfer.

Except where mandatory law permits otherwise, customers may not share or resell keys, bypass technical limits, provide the software to third parties, decompile, disassemble or seek to derive source code. All ungranted rights are reserved. The software, marks, interfaces and documentation remain the property of the publisher or its licensors.

7. Cancellation, renewal and refunds

Customers can cancel free of charge online at any time through Cancel your contract, which opens the secure Lemon Squeezy portal. Cancellation applies at the next renewal and the licence remains available through the paid period. Lemon Squeezy recommends cancelling at least 48 hours before renewal.

Started periods are not prorated, subject to mandatory rights. Lemon Squeezy decides requests concerning charges, duplicates, fraud, non-delivery and refunds under its Buyer Terms and applicable law. Submit requests via Lemon Squeezy support with the order number and purchase email.

8. Consumer withdrawal

Customers ordering for trade, business or professional purposes do not benefit from consumer withdrawal rights. A customer acting as a consumer generally has fourteen days from contract formation to withdraw.

For immediately supplied digital content, withdrawal is lost only if the consumer expressly consents to immediate performance, expressly acknowledges losing the right, receives the required durable confirmation, and supply begins. Lemon Squeezy’s checkout records acceptance of Buyer Terms covering immediate supply and the loss of withdrawal once download or transmission begins. If every legal condition is not met, the right remains.

To exercise a remaining right in time, submit an unambiguous statement through Lemon Squeezy support with name, email, order number, product, order date and the decision to withdraw. The customer may also email support@preflightflow.com for routing. Mandatory legal guarantees for digital content and services are unaffected.

9. Updates, availability and support

The publisher supplies security and conformity updates for as long as they can reasonably be expected, together with updates promised in the offer. Updates may require a supported operating system. Maintenance, security work and third-party outages do not create a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Product support is available at support@preflightflow.com; no response SLA applies unless separately agreed in writing.

10. Data and privacy

PDFs, previews, reports and corrected outputs are processed locally and are not sent to PreflightFlow. Activation sends Lemon Squeezy the licence key, an instance identifier and workstation name to verify entitlement. See the privacy policy.

11. Liability

Each party is responsible for direct loss caused by its proven breach. In business-to-business relations, to the extent permitted by law, the publisher’s total liability is capped at the fees excluding tax paid for PreflightFlow during the twelve months before the event; indirect loss and loss of production, profit, customers or data are excluded.

The limits do not apply to fraud, wilful or gross misconduct, personal injury, publisher-attributable IP infringement, or liabilities and guarantees that cannot legally be limited. They do not reduce mandatory consumer rights.

12. Term, suspension and termination

The licence lasts for the subscription term and ends on expiry, cancellation or refund. Access may be suspended for non-payment, fraud, abusive key sharing, security threats or a material breach not cured after notice where practicable. Terms intended by nature to survive termination remain effective.

13. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delay caused by an unforeseeable, unavoidable event beyond its reasonable control under applicable law. The affected party will notify the other and reasonably mitigate the effect. Amounts already due remain payable.

14. Law and disputes

The licence is governed by French law. Parties will first seek an amicable solution through support@preflightflow.com. Failing agreement, business disputes go to courts having jurisdiction under applicable procedural rules. Consumers retain mandatory laws and access to any court legally available to them.

15. Changes and evidence

The version accepted at order remains applicable to that order. Changes are dated and affect a current subscription only after required notice. Reliably stored confirmations, receipts and technical logs may be used as evidence without preventing contrary evidence.
